We ship food soybeans in bulk or in bags for the tofu, miso, and natto industries in Japan. The soybean growing areas are Ontario, Quebec, and Manitoba, Canada as well as the mid-western USA. In each area, we have special varieties to meet the customer's demands. Each variety has different sizes and various protein contents. As well, most soybeans we sell are non-GMO (non-genetically modified).
The Otebo beans we supply are the Himetebo variety grown in Ontario, Canada and Michigan, USA. These beans originated from Japan and are a public seed.
The Azuki beans we supply are the Erimo variety grown in Ontario, Canada and Michigan, USA and Australia. These beans originated from Japan. We are proud to be a leader in the market share.
The canned cherries we export are packed in Washington State, USA for our buyers in Japan.
We also export frozen high bush blueberries for repacking in Japan, as pioneered by our customers. We are proud to be one of the industry leaders. Our suppliers are located in British Columbia, Canada, Washington State, USA and Oregon State, USA.
We export frozen pork, red meats and variety meats from Mexico and Canada to Japan. Currently however our beef export to Japan has been stalled due to BSE problems. We fully intend to continue to export beef from USA and Canada to Japan once the import ban is lifted.
